As of July 16th 2022 the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, now known as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, can be reached by 24/7 by calling or texting 988, or chatting on 988lifeline.org no matter where you live in the U.S. You do not have to be suicidal to reach out and trained crisis counselors will help you through whatever mental health challenges you are experiencing.
