DKA Choices Program

Personalized Job Development

Your job search just got easier. Once you have completed a self-referral form, you will be paired up with one of our expert Job Developers who will work with you to find, apply to, and prepare for the right job for you. The goal of job development is to match workers with long-term, stable employment. Your Job Developer will assist you with:

  • Determining your employment goals and creating a plan to achieve them

  • Creating or updating your resume

  • Identifying appropriate job opportunities and providing job leads

  • Completing job applications and navigating the job search process

  • Conducting mock interviews and assistance with interview preparation

  • Understanding how employment may affect benefits

  • Connecting program participants with additional DKA classes, programs, work adjustment training opportunities, and case management/community resources.

Supplementary Programs

Your DKA Job Developer can help connect you with DKAs optional supplementary services to assist you in reaching your employment goals including:

  • Personal Development Class

  • Employability Skills Class

  • Computer Skills Class

  • Work Adjustment Training Internships (WAT)

  • Vocational Counseling

  • Case Management

Eligibility Requirements

The first step is determining your eligibility through AHCCCS or DES Vocational Rehabilitation.  If you have questions about eligibility, call our office at (520) 790-7677.

  • 18 years or older

  • Seeking Competitive Employment in the Pima County Area

  • Active AHCCCS insurance coverage with a GMH designation through Arizona Complete Health, Banner, United Healthcare, or American Indian Health program/Behavioral health services.

DKA is an Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) Specialty Provider. 

*Potential clients MUST either be referred by DES Vocational Rehabilitation, or be receiving AHCCCS health benefits with either Arizona Complete Health (AZCH), Banner Health, American Indian, or United Health Care. Once they submit a self-referral form, we will reach out to schedule a clinical assessment with our staff to determine eligibility. These requirements do not apply to our Dress for Success Men's clothing closet.
