Work Adjustment and Work Experience

Many people find it difficult to qualify for the jobs they want due to limited work experience. For over 20 years Dorothy Kret & Associates has provided community-based, small group paid work experience programs, each supervised by an on-site Worksite Supervisor. We have worksites at businesses in various locations throughout Tucson, Phoenix, and Southern Arizona. These include Bell Ford; Pima County Attorney’s Office and Transportation Department; Desert Toyota; Linkages; DKA offices, and ArchiveXpress.

Trainees perform real work and learn to meet quality standards and deadlines while working for pay and interacting with community co-workers, site employees, and in some cases, the general public. DKA worksites include trainees with disabilities and those without. Individual training objectives are set and tracked to lead to job retention in the competitive market.
