The process of converting paper files to a searchable CD is a new and growing field well suited to employing people with disabilities and those without. Dorothy Kret & Associates has led the field in Arizona with Document Conversion Worksites at host employers’ offices and at our in-house ArchiveXpress. DKA trainees, plus those hired following their training program, convert large volumes of records from paper or photographs into computer storage. Clients working at any of our seven crews (both Phoenix and Tucson) learn PC use, data entry, file assembly, quality control, copying, and organizational skills.
